A 16-oscillator, 8-voice architecture provides triangle, ramp, square, noise, and adjustable pulse waves across a full 2’-16’ octave (10 Hz - 12.5 kHz) range, plus noise generator, dual ADSR envelopes, and a VCA, all with a 100% pure analog signal path. Each voice features signature, creamy Japanese-style analog multimode filters with lowpass (12 or 24dB/octave) and highpass operation.
ISE-NIN’s depth and programmability evolve fluidly from natural earthbound sounds to alien otherworldly possibilities. Each oscillator provides Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), cross modulation, and hard sync, for clangorous timbral effects as you desire them. You’ll also find dedicated MIDI-syncable LFOs with independent LFOs per layer. LFOs can target the pitch and pulse width of oscillator 1/2 for each voice, amplitude, and filter. The filters in turn can be modulated not only by the two oscillators but velocity, polyphonic aftertouch, envelope, and keyboard tracking.
All essential functions on ISE-NIN are readily accessible on front-panel knobs, faders, and buttons. Quickly take two voice presets and layer them or split them into upper and lower registers. Access the built-in arpeggiator, glissando, and portamento modes. Dial in velocity and aftertouch by lower and upper range. Store up to 128 presets per bank, in 2 User banks, or call 3 banks filled with beautifully crafted presets or individual layers via front-panel menus. Each layer has dedicated settings for expression. As with our full range, you can use your own tuning, including support for Scala and MTS-ESP ODDSound standards. It’s a rare combination of fully authentic classic analog sound, with all its depth, and thoroughly modern control.
For all its big-keyboard analog sound, ISE-NIN is concentrated into a 19” (46 cm) rack space, built with aluminum sourced from Tsubame Sanjo in Niigata Prefecture, the famed hub for metalworking and craft. With full support for MPE and polyphonic aftertouch, pair its sound engine with whichever touch interface you prefer, in desktop or rackmount form.
ISE-NIN facilitates communication through the BC Application software, enabling you to configure and load microtuning presets and sound patches. Download the BC Application from the section below on this page.
